Plan 16906R is a 3-bedroom single-story house plan that blends Bungalow, European and Traditional character into one calm, well-ordered home. On one level and 1460 ft², it sits under a hip & valley roof with a 6/12 (26°) pitch, and its walls are dressed in stone/brick veneer. The house measures 57'9" wide and 40'1" deep, with a height of 20'1", a footprint that keeps every room within easy reach. The structure is designed with silicate block walls on a bored pile foundation, and aerated concrete, ceramic block or timber frame walls are also available on request, as are slab, strip footing or block foundations.
Past the entry, the open floor plan joins the large family room and the large kitchen into one generous space, so cooking, conversation and homework all happen together. The kitchen is built for real family use: a breakfast bar for quick meals, a walk-in pantry that keeps supplies out of sight, and a breakfast nook framed by a bay window for slow weekend mornings. Large windows and floor-to-ceiling windows draw daylight deep into the living area and connect the interior with the back of the house.
The three bedrooms are clustered together, which keeps the sleeping wing quiet and close for parents with young children. The main floor master includes a walk-in closet, and two full bathrooms serve the household, so mornings run without a queue. Practical spaces are thought through as well: laundry on the main floor, a separate utility room for the mechanical equipment, and storage that keeps everyday clutter away from the living areas.
Outside, a covered rear porch offers a sheltered place to sit in any weather, and a deck extends the outdoor living space for meals and summer evenings. The attached front-entry 1-car garage gives direct, covered access for the car and extra room for tools and bikes. Without a basement, this bungalow house plan keeps everything on a single level, an easy, comfortable layout for every stage of family life.
