This house plan can be modified to fit your family’s lifestyle and your lot’s specifics.
Plan 98833R is a 4-bedroom coastal house plan that rises four stories and offers 3612 ft² of living space under a hip and pyramid roof. It is an elevated American home for a single family, finished in siding and measuring 42'0" wide and 57'0" deep. The main rooms sit above a drive-under, front-entry garage for two cars, and an elevator links every level, so groceries, luggage and guests move through the house as easily as on one floor.
The floor plan uses reverse living: the family's daily life gathers on an upper level, where an open floor plan joins a large family room with a large kitchen. The kitchen sits at the center and toward the rear of the house. It has an island for preparing meals, a breakfast bar for quick conversations over coffee, and a breakfast nook for slower mornings, while a walk-in pantry keeps the counters clear. A sitting area offers a quieter corner away from the kitchen, and the media room is ready for movie nights and game days with the whole family.
This house plan with 2 master suites places one master on the main floor and a second master on the second floor, a flexible choice for guests, relatives or a growing family. Split bedrooms give each suite its privacy, and two of the bedrooms share a Jack & Jill bath. Walk-in closets add generous wardrobe space, and the house has four full bathrooms and one half bath in total. Laundry on the main floor, a welcoming entry and dedicated storage handle the practical side of a four-story home, and the garage with upstairs living makes good use of every level.
Outside, a portico and a covered front porch frame the arrival, and stacked porches give several levels their own outdoor rooms. A covered rear porch, a screened porch and a balcony invite long summer evenings outdoors. The house is built on the foundation as shown in the drawings, and the plan is also available with a crawl space, a slab, a monolithic slab, a stem wall or a basement. The exterior walls are framed as shown, and 2×6 exterior walls are available on request.
