This house plan can be modified to fit your family’s lifestyle and your lot’s specifics.
Plan 68354R is a 4-bedroom elevated coastal house plan with four stories and 3036 ft² of living space, wrapped in siding and topped by a hip & valley roof. Contemporary and modern lines meet a relaxed American character, and the raised design places the main living areas above a drive-under garage. The house measures 34'6" wide and 62'5" deep, and its split level layout, served by an elevator, makes moving between the stories easy for every generation of the family.
The heart of the home is an open floor plan that joins a large family room and a large kitchen into one generous space. A fireplace anchors the family room, and on a winter evening it draws everyone toward the sofa. The rear kitchen is designed for real cooking and hosting: a central island, a breakfast bar for quick meals, a breakfast nook for slower mornings and a walk-in pantry that keeps supplies out of sight. Large windows, panoramic windows and floor-to-ceiling windows open the rooms to the view and fill them with daylight.
This plan offers two master suites, a rare comfort in a house plan with elevator access. One master suite sits on the main floor and the second on the second floor, so parents, guests or older relatives each get privacy and their own walk-in closet. The remaining bedrooms are clustered, keeping the sleeping areas together and quiet. Four full bathrooms and a half bathroom mean no waiting in the morning, and the laundry on the second floor sits right where the clothes are. Dedicated storage helps keep every level tidy.
Outside, stacked porches, a balcony and a covered rear porch give the family a place in the open air on several levels, while a patio adds room for outdoor dining. The front entry garage holds four cars in a tandem arrangement, with a garage with upstairs space that puts the area above it to good use. The house stands on the foundation as shown, and it is also available with a crawl space, a slab, a monolithic slab, a stem wall or a basement. 2×6 exterior walls are available on request as well.
