This house plan can be modified to fit your family’s lifestyle and your lot’s specifics.
Plan 81508R is a 4-bedroom coastal house plan that rises four stories, offers 4222 ft² of living space and sits beneath a hip and valley roof with gable accents, its ridge running parallel to the street. This elevated luxury house plan blends a relaxed beach character with classic American lines, wrapped in siding and measuring 68'6" wide and 66'6" deep. Five full bathrooms and one half bath serve the household, and a private elevator connects the floors, so every level stays within easy reach.
The open floor plan is organized around a large family room with a fireplace, crowned by vaulted ceilings and opened up by panoramic, floor-to-ceiling windows. A sitting area beside the fireplace gives the room a quieter corner for reading or conversation on cool evenings. The large kitchen takes a central position toward the rear of the house, with an island and a breakfast bar facing the living area, a breakfast nook for casual meals and a walk-in pantry that keeps supplies close at hand.
The master suite is on the main floor, a true main floor master with its own walk-in closet, while the other bedrooms are clustered together to give the family a shared retreat of their own. The laundry is also on the main floor, near the daily routine rather than tucked away. A home office supports remote work, a bonus/flex room can become a media room, gym or playroom, and dedicated storage keeps beach gear and seasonal items in order.
Outside, the stacked porches are the soul of the elevation: a covered front porch, a covered rear porch and a screened porch, together with a deck and a balcony for taking in the morning air. An outdoor fireplace extends the season well past summer. Because the house is elevated, the 4-car garage is a drive-under design with both front entry and rear entry. The foundation is as shown in the drawings, and the plan is also available with a crawl space, slab, monolithic slab, stem wall or basement foundation, as well as with 2×6 exterior walls on request.
