This house plan can be modified to fit your family’s lifestyle and your lot’s specifics.
Plan 89056R is a 4-bedroom elevated house plan spread over four stories, offering 3067 ft² of living space beneath a hip and valley roof. Its exterior blends coastal, contemporary and modern American influences with a touch of modern farmhouse character, finished in siding and layered with porches on several levels. The house measures 66'5" wide and 51'7" deep, and an elevator links every floor, so the height of the home never stands between the family and the rooms they use every day.
The layout follows the reverse living idea, placing the main gathering spaces on an upper level. An open floor plan joins a large family room with a fireplace, a large kitchen and a breakfast nook. The kitchen sits toward the front of the house and is planned around an island with a breakfast bar, backed by a walk-in pantry. On a winter evening the fireplace becomes the natural center of the room, while the nook suits quick breakfasts before school. A covered rear porch and a lanai carry this living level outdoors when the weather turns warm.
The master suite is on the main floor and includes a walk-in closet. A split bedrooms arrangement keeps the three other bedrooms apart from it, which gives parents and children or guests real privacy. With four full bathrooms and one half bath, nobody has to share. Laundry on the main floor saves trips up and down the stairs, and a mudroom collects shoes, coats and bags at the entry. A media room makes a dedicated space for movies and games, and a bonus/flex room can become an office, a playroom or a gym.
Outside, a 3-car drive under garage with side entry occupies the lowest level, and this garage with upstairs space adds even more room above it. A breezeway, a covered front porch, stacked porches, a balcony and a deck give the family a choice of shaded and open-air spots on different floors. The foundation is built as shown in the drawings; the plan is also available with a crawl space, slab, monolithic slab, stem wall or basement foundation, and 2×6 exterior walls can be requested as well.
