Plan 10865C is a 3-bedroom 4-story modern house plan with a flat roof and 1555 ft² of living space, drawn in a contemporary style with a clear high-tech edge. The single-family home measures 32'9" wide and 35'2" deep and rises to 32'0" in height, so its rooms are stacked upward instead of spread across the ground. Stucco, wood and stone/brick veneer share the facades, and large windows, panoramic windows, floor-to-ceiling glass and a corner window open the house to daylight from several directions.
You come in through a separate entry, which keeps coats and shoes away from the main living area. Beyond it, an open floor plan joins the living room, the dining area and a large kitchen into one continuous space. Part of this zone is open to below, and the double-height volume links the levels visually while letting light from the tall glazing reach deep into the house. The kitchen has room to cook, set the table and talk with the family at the same time. On winter evenings the tall windows frame the dusk while the house stays warm and bright inside.
The three bedrooms are clustered together, which keeps the quiet part of the home in one zone, away from the open living spaces. The master suite sits on the second floor, and three full bathrooms mean parents, children and guests rarely have to wait their turn in the morning. A utility room keeps the mechanical equipment and household chores out of the living spaces, and a balcony gives the upper floors a private outdoor spot for the first coffee of the day.
The house stands on strip footings, and its exterior walls are framed in aerated concrete (AAC) blocks. On request, the plan is also available with a slab or a concrete block foundation, and with walls in clay hollow block or calcium silicate block. There is no basement. A one-car carport shelters the vehicle without the bulk of an enclosed garage, and stacked porches add covered outdoor space on more than one level, extending the rooms toward the garden. For a family that likes clean lines and plenty of light, this 3 bedroom house plan offers a compact, vertical modern home with a strong presence.
