This house plan can be modified to fit your family’s lifestyle and your lot’s specifics.
You have two options for modifying this house plan:
1. Order modifications from the original architect. Purchase the modified Digital Concept and send it to your local architect to prepare the Construction Documents.
2. Work with your local architect. Purchase the original Digital Concept without modifications, then ask your local architect to make the changes and prepare the Construction Documents.
Plan 29027R is a 4-bedroom single-story house plan that fits a full family layout into 1256 ft² beneath a hip roof with a 7/12 (30°) pitch. The Bungalow proportions take on European and Traditional details, with Stone/Brick Veneer and Stucco on the exterior walls and a covered front porch at the entrance. The house is 44'5" wide and 30'8" deep, with a height of 20'4", which makes it a small house plan that still sleeps a larger family comfortably.
The front door opens into a defined entry that keeps coats and shoes out of the main rooms. Beyond it the home follows an open floor plan: the large family room, the kitchen and the breakfast nook share one continuous space, so whoever is cooking stays part of the conversation. The fireplace in the family room anchors the seating area and gives the room a natural focal point, and on winter evenings it becomes the place everyone gathers. The breakfast nook handles quick weekday meals and slow weekend coffee without the need for a separate formal dining room.
All four bedrooms sit on the same level, including the main floor master, and they are clustered together in their own part of the plan, apart from the daily activity of the living area. Two full bathrooms serve the bedroom wing, so mornings run smoothly even with a full house. A utility room keeps laundry and household equipment out of sight, a practical addition in a home of this compact footprint.
Outside, the house stands on a strip footing foundation and has no basement; a slab foundation is also available on request. The exterior walls are built of autoclaved aerated concrete block, with clay block or wood framing offered as alternatives. The plan does not include a garage, which keeps the footprint efficient and leaves room for a detached solution if needed. A deck extends the living space outdoors for summer meals, while the covered front porch gives a sheltered spot to sit and greet the neighbors.
