Plan 72446C is a 3-bedroom single-story house plan that pairs Bungalow proportions with European and Traditional detailing, keeping the whole home on one level within 1474 ft². A hip and valley roof with a 5/12 pitch tops the T-shaped footprint, and the exterior walls combine stone/brick veneer with stucco for a facade that looks settled and carefully finished. The house measures 46'3" wide and 57'4" deep, with a height of 18'6". It is designed as a single family home for everyday, year-round living.
A covered front porch leads to the entry, which opens straight into an open floor plan where the family room and the kitchen share one generous space. The family room is large enough for a full seating arrangement and holiday gatherings, and floor-to-ceiling windows, other large windows and a corner window bring daylight well into the interior. The large kitchen is organized around an island that serves as a prep counter, a casual place for breakfast and a natural meeting point while dinner is under way. On winter evenings, whoever is cooking stays part of the conversation instead of working behind a closed door.
The three bedrooms are clustered together, so the sleeping rooms form their own quiet zone within this one-story house plan. They are served by a full bathroom, while a half bath takes care of guests and busy mornings. A utility room keeps household equipment and everyday chores out of sight, which helps the open living area stay calm and uncluttered. With one full and one half bathroom, 3 bedrooms and no stairs to climb, the layout suits a young family as well as owners planning to stay in the house for many years.
The house stands on strip footings, with exterior walls framed in aerated concrete block; the plan is also available with a slab or a concrete block foundation, and with clay hollow block or sand-lime block walls on request. A 1-car front-entry garage provides sheltered parking and room for storage. As a house plan with covered porches front and back, it offers two outdoor rooms: the front porch welcomes visitors, and the covered rear porch is the spot for a morning coffee or a summer supper at home. The plan has no basement, so all of the 1474 ft² is on the ground floor, easy to reach and easy to maintain.
