Plan 15823C is a 3-bedroom single-story house plan with a flat roof, 2231 ft² of living space and a clean, modern profile drawn from California Style and Prairie architecture. The contemporary home follows a U-shaped and H-shaped footprint and measures 57'5" wide and 80'5" deep, with a height of 17'7". The exterior walls combine wood, tiles and panels, and the walls are framed in aerated concrete, with ceramic hollow block or calcium silicate block also available on request. Large windows, panoramic glazing and a corner window give this luxury design its high-tech, Florida Style openness, and every room sits on one level.
A dedicated entry leads into an open floor plan where the large family room, the dining area and the kitchen share one generous space. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring daylight deep into the family room, and on long evenings the glass becomes a frame for the outdoors. The large kitchen is planned around an island and a breakfast bar, so quick breakfasts, homework and conversation with whoever is cooking all happen in the same place. Because the kitchen stays open to the living area, the person at the stove is never cut off from the rest of the family.
The master suite is on the main floor, and the three bedrooms are clustered together, which keeps the private rooms away from the busier living space. Three full bathrooms mean that mornings run smoothly for a family or for guests staying a few nights, and a walk-in closet adds organized storage to the bedroom side. A home office gives a quiet place to work or study, and a utility room keeps the household equipment and everyday chores out of sight.
The house stands on strip footings and is also available with a slab or a concrete block foundation; this modern house plan has no basement. A 2-car carport shelters the vehicles under the same flat-roofed composition, and a covered rear porch extends the living area outside for summer meals and quiet afternoons in the shade. With its single level, generous glazing and clear division between day and night zones, this flat roof house plan suits a family that wants contemporary architecture and easy living for every season of the year.
